The power of repentance

THE FIRST KINGDOM KEY

Let’s dive right in. There is power in repentance! Repentance is the first key to unlocking our relationship with God our Father and the power of the Kingdom. Matt 4:17 says,

The greek word for repentance is metanoeo and means a reformation, reversal (Strong’s 3340). Its turning around, turning back. Repentance puts us in the right position and relationship with God. As we chose to turn around; we return into the originally intended relationship with God our Father. We grow to be humble and give Him proper position in our lives.

What does repentance lead to? It leads to forgiveness, knowledge of truth, no regrets, and salvation.

What does repentance give? Inheritance of blessings, the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38), healing, humility, and most importantly salvation and life to all things (Isa 30:15). Yes LIFE! Life to your relationship with God, yourself, your marriage, your business, your relationships. Create in me a clean heart oh God!

Repentance removes pride, puffiness, haughtiness(Rom 2:5) (Luke 18:13). It removes sickness, plagues, idolatry, judgement, shame and confusion (Jeremiah 31:19) (2 Cor 7:9). Importantly, it removes sin (Luke 15:7)! Hallelujah!

Repentance is not to be taken lightly. It’s life changing. It unlocks doors in Heaven that give us open portals to all the Kingdom’s of Heaven. Most of all it gives us access to our Father. Without it; we are without Him. It is fundamental.
